The Jackson County Board of Supervisors meet Monday night. Among the items on the agenda: a proclamation honoring Women in History, employee recognition, and several major financial resolutions, including requests for up to 40 million dollars in general obligation notes and parameters for the sale of 20 million dollars in bonds. Supervisors will also consider funding for a 2026 orthoimagery project, a proposal to hire a radio consultant, two zoning petitions, and receive the annual report from the county animal shelter. The meeting starts at 5:30 in the Jackson County Courthouse; and is open to the public.
