A Black River Falls family is facing heartbreak after their six-month-old son, Weston, was diagnosed with Krabbe Disease, a rare and fatal genetic brain disorder. Born last September to parents Nick and Andrea Kyser, Weston initially thrived, but recent symptoms led to testing at Mayo Clinic, confirming the devastating diagnosis. The Jackson County community is coming together to support Baby Weston and the Kyser family. A go-fund me page has been set-up for those who wish to donate towards medical costs. Under a Tin Roof, a roadside farm stand between Northfield and Hixton, on Highway 121, is hosting a “Season Opener Full of Love” today. Now until 6:00 tonight, a purchase of your favorite sourdough bread, cookies, and more will help be a direct gift, with 100% of proceeds going to the Kyser family. The Kyser’s ask for support through prayers as they focus on making every moment with Baby Weston meaningful.
