The April meeting of the Jackson County Forestry and Parks Committee is scheduled for Tuesday morning. In addition to the department’s report, the committee will hear from the Chamber of Commerce and DNR. They’ll consider approving a spring timber sale, recipients of the Town Road Grant, and a recreational trail project. The meeting will go into closed session to deliberate or negotiate the purchase of public properties, invest in public funds, or conduct other public business. The meeting starts at 8:30 in the Courthouse’s Board Room.
