Joanne Lee Falcon Mann

Joanne Lee Falcon Mann, 76, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at her home in Black River Falls.
She was born to Emanuel and Rose (Dixon) Falcon in Black River Falls, on June 30, 1950. She grew up and
attended Black River Falls Schools.
Joanne was united in marriage to John R. Mann in 1971. They lived in Gary, Indiana and later moved to
Cincinnati, OH. After John got injured, Joanne took care of him through recovery, rehabilitation, and
throughout the rest of his life.
Throughout Joanne’s life she was a homemaker and traveled throughout the United States and Canda with her
husband as a Native food vendor. She showed her children the Native American Church ways and teachings,
she put the creator God first. Joanne later moved home to the Falcon Homestead to care for her parents and the
upkeep of the Falcon Homestead. Joanne’s greatest accomplishments were her parents, grandchildren and great-
grandchildren aka Gaga Llama.
Joanne lived her life to the fullest, always willing to help anyone in need. She was a mother to all children,
caring and creating a safe place.
Joanne is preceded in death by her husband, John, parents, Emanuel and Rose Falcon, her brother, Wayne
Falcon; sister, Marilyn Wynos; sister-in-law, Cindy Radtke; brother-in-law, Randall Mann; son, Jordan Miller;
nephew, Anthony Falcon, grandsons Atreyu Ortiz and Nelson Funmaker, and great-granddaughter, Ariyah
Wolfe.
She’s survived by her children Manda Mann, Rosann (Wilfrid Cleveland) Mann, Matthew (Jesse) Mann, Clariss
Funmaker (Dannielle WhiteThunder) Piggy, Mildred Decorah; goddaughter Lisa (Zane) Flick; adoptive
children, Lisa Young, Robyn Two Crow, James Two Crow and Asa Two Crow; 24 grandchildren, 24 great-
grandchildren, and siblings, Mann (Arlene) J. Falcon, Martin Falcon, and Betsy Falcon along with many nieces
and nephews.
The funeral service for Joanne was held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026, at the Falcon Homestead
(W9455 US Hwy 12, Black River Falls).
Buswell Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
