Ken Timm, age75, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, at the American Lutheran Home in
Mondovi, Wisconsin. He was born on March 6, 1950, in Wabasha, MN, to the late Evelyn Mae (Bloom)
and Arnold Willes Timm, Sr. He lived in the Mondovi area most of his life and enjoyed high school
athletics including wrestling, football, and track and field. Upon graduation he joined the United States
Marine Corps. Ken married Deborah Bauer, (Timm), (Miller) on October 16, 1971. From this union, six
children were born: Angela, Jessica, Michael, Sarah, Bridget, and Andrew. Ken and Deborah later
divorced.
Throughout his life, Ken had many jobs including farming, feedmill worker, construction worker,
custodian, school bus driver and supervisor, Trempealeau County Deputy, security guard, and over the
road truck driver. Ken’s hobbies included fishing, hunting, horseshoes, dart ball, watching westerns
(especially with John Wayne), cartoons, and the Green Bay Packers. He talked to everyone and loved
visiting; everyone seemed to know him! Ken volunteered as a 4-H Leader for 25 years and was on the
Cenex Equity Livestock Board. Ken loved children, dogs, music, singing, dancing, and playing cards. A
special thank you goes out to the staff at the American Lutheran Nursing in Mondovi for the love and
care they provided over the years during Ken’s time there.
Survivors include his children: Angela (Jim) Gulrud of Pardeeville, Jessica (Joy) Christenson of Hudson,
Michael (Erica) Timm of Eleva, Sarah (Ryan) McIntosh of Burnsville, MN, Bridget (Jake) Rummel of
Crawfordville, FL, Andrew Timm of Burnsville, MN; nine grandchildren: Ethan Maug, Katelyn Gulrud,
Sydney Gulrud, Ellia Christenson, Adi Christenson, Annie Timm, Fiona McIntosh, Stuart McIntosh, and
Meredith McIntosh; brother Neil Timm of Eau Claire, and sisters: Gail Iverson of Mahtomedi, MN, Janet
Timm of Apple Valley, MN, Sandy (Richard) Johnson of Kimberling City, MO, and Renee Timm of Denver,
Colorado.
Preceded in death by infant sister Karen Timm, brother Reid (Mary) Timm, infant nephew Maxwell
Timm, sister-in-law Shirley (Neil) Timm, and brother Arnold (Lynn) Timm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Holy Family Parish,
Arcadia, with Father Kyle Laylan officiating. Family and friends are welcome for visitation from 4 p.m. to
6 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home, Arcadia, where there will be a
public prayer service beginning at 6 p.m., and also from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the procession
to mass on Saturday. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, rural Arcadia. In lieu of flowers, memorials
in Ken’s honor may be designated to the Buffalo County Human Society. To express condolences to his
