A Chippewa Falls woman accused of attempted 1st degree intentional homicide on Christmas Eve now has a Court date set for Feb 6. She is Currently being held on a cash bond of $250,000. 

Authorities were called to a home in the Village of Lake Hallie on Christmas Eve. The caller advised a woman had a baseball bat. 

Upon arrival however, deputies found 54 year old Laura Feala screaming, pacing the room, swearing and refused to comply with the arriving deputies. 

In investigating, Responders found a male victim in the bathroom covered in blood. The man told officers he had been stabbed in the left eye and had been hit with a baseball bat as well. Officers discovered the victim had been stabbed about 15 times. The victim told officers he thought Feala was going to kill him. He stated that he was taking a shower when Feala came in and began to attack and stab him. When he started fighting back to save himself, Feala ran out, grabbed a baseball bat and came back in to assault him further. 

Laura Feala is being charged with attempted 1st-degree intentional homicide, aggravated battery, use of a dangerous weapon, and misdemeanor battery.. At the time of this report, there is no word on the condition of the victim in this attempted homicide case.
