The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is launching a series of informational meetings across northern Wisconsin to highlight fisheries management and habitat projects. The spotlight series will cover topics including walleye movement studies in the Winnebago System, trout habitat improvements, watershed management, and Green Bay restoration updates.
Sessions will take place both in person and online through Microsoft Teams between mid-January and late February, generally running from 6 to 8 p.m. Locations include Oshkosh, Shawano, Wautoma, Florence, and Green Bay, with several fully virtual presentations as well.
Residents will have the chance to hear from DNR fisheries biologists, learn about current research, and ask questions. Full schedules and virtual meeting links are available on the DNR’s Meetings and Hearings calendar.
