Unfortunately, there won’t be a white Christmas on Trempealeau County snowmobile trails. Due to
lack of snow, trails will be closed until further notice. We will monitor the forecast moving forward, and
will let the public know when trails are available for use, after we receive sufficient snowfall to provide
an adequate base for safe snowmobile use.
A reminder, UTVs/ATVs are NOT allowed on Trempealeau County snowmobile trails at any time. Our
trails are all on private lands where owners have granted permission for use specific to snowmobile
travel. It is important to respect the opportunity that our private land owners have brought to
Trempealeau County. This includes all public trails that run through cities/townships as well.
Trempealeau County has the right to close trails as needed. Follow Trempealeau County Parks &
