Western Technical College will host its annual college-wide Open House on Wednesday, October 8, from 4 to 7 p.m. Events will be held at all six locations, including La Crosse, Black River Falls, Independence, Mauston, Tomah, and Viroqua.

The Open House gives future students and families a chance to explore programs, tour facilities, and meet faculty and staff. Attendees can also enjoy refreshments, receive admissions information, and enter a drawing for a $500 scholarship.

Western will waive its $30 application fee for anyone who applies during the event. The offer is open to high school seniors and older planning to attend in 2026.

On the La Crosse campus, activities will take place at the Lunda Center, with representatives from student services, student clubs, and transfer universities. Financial Aid staff will also be available to help families complete the FAFSA.

The Open House is free and open to the public. More details are online at westerntc.edu/openhouse.
