Paul James Berg, age 59, of rural Blair, passed away peacefully in his
home in the early hours of Thursday morning, April 23, 2026.
He courageously fought cancer the past year. His parents, James and
Mary (Tyvand) Berg preceded him in death.
Paul proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Gulf
War.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Sheyla; a sister, Lisa (Neil)
Schroeder; a niece, Alexis Schroeder and several aunts, uncles,
cousins and many friends.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
in Blair Lutheran Church West in Blair. Pastor Chris Sesvold will
officiate. Military rites will be conducted by the Knudtson-Mattison
American Legion Post #231 following the service.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
The Jack Funeral Home in Blair is assisting the famiy with
arranements.
