The Wisconsin Lottery is partnering with the National Council on Problem Gambling and the Wisconsin Council on Problem Gambling to mark Problem Gambling Awareness Month.
Now in its 23rd year, the campaign highlights resources for prevention, education, treatment, and recovery. This year’s theme — “Caring Communities, Stronger Futures” — focuses on the role communities play in supporting people affected by problem gambling.
The Wisconsin Lottery is promoting awareness through in-store digital displays, radio spots, print ads, social media, and its Players Club newsletter. The Lottery is also funding four scholarships to attend the Wisconsin Council on Problem Gambling’s statewide conference March 19th and 20th at the Milwaukee Marriott in Waukesha.
Help is available 24 hours a day through the problem gambling helpline at 800-GAMBLE-5, by text at 850-888-HOPE, or online at wi-problemgamblers.org.
