An attempt to locate a man with a warrant for his arrest turned into a pursuit Friday afternoon. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department says a deputy arrived at a residence on Lockington Road, in the Township of North Bend, around Noon, looking for Troy C. Hanson. Hanson was wanted for a felony warrant through La Crosse County. The deputy spoke with a woman, who was later seen fleeing the scene with Hanson. The vehicle was later spotted in Trempealeau County and pursued back into Jackson County where it was eventually stopped using tire deflation devices and a PIT maneuver. The woman, identified as Ashlyn Hanson, then briefly held Troy with an edged weapon before they both surrendered. Ashlyn Hanson was booked into the Jackson County Jail on charges of recklessly endangering safety, harboring/aiding a felon, and obstructing an officer. Troy Hanson was booked under his felony warrant and charges of fleeing an officer, bail jumping, recklessly endangering safety, and obstructing an officer.
