Reynolds Lloyd Tomter, age 108 of Pigeon Falls, died on Sunday, November 2,
2025 in the Pigeon Falls Care Center in Pigeon Falls.
Reynolds was born on April 26, 1917 in Pigeon Falls to Otto Melvin and Hulda
Josephine (Evenson) Tomter. Reynolds married Dorothea Elizabeth Hoff on May
27, 1939 in Ettrick. Dorothea preceded Reynolds in death on November 26, 1996.
Reynolds served in the Merchants Marines during World War II.
Reynolds purchased the Pigeon Store in 1954. Seventeen years he sold the
store and became a real estate broker, establishing Reynolds Realty. Reynolds
loved golfing, fishing and spending winters in Florida with his wife. His biggest
joy in life was spending time with his family and friends.
Reynolds is survived by a daughter, Julie Warner of Pigeon Falls; a son,
Reynolds “Bud” (Ellen) Tomter of Watkinsville, GA; grandchildren and great-
grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Peace Lutheran Church of Pigeon Falls on
Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
Visitation will be held at the church on Friday, April 24, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to
6:30 p.m. and also from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
