Robert “Bob” Emil Dorn

Robert “Bob” Emil Dorn, 69, of Arcadia, died Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Trempealeau
County Healthcare Center, Whitehall. 
Bob was born in Arcadia on August 18, 1955, to Emil and Marian (Feltes) Dorn.  He graduated
from Arcadia High School in 1974. In 1979, he married Julie Halverson and they had one
daughter, Sarah.  They later divorced.  
Bob was employed by AG Coop and Ashley Furniture.  He was proud to be a volunteer
firefighter for the Arcadia Glencoe Fire Department for many years.  
Bob enjoyed life with his family and friends.  He loved fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles,
camping, western movies, poker and a good game of cribbage. He enjoyed the Sunday family
gathering with a good meal and a friendly poker game. In later years, his brother Lank took Bob
on many road trips in the country and checked out the river to see what fish were biting.  
He is survived by his daughter: Sarah (special friend, Jack Wolfe); granddaughter: Olivia Wolfe;
brothers: Don “Lank” (Ella), Joe (Roxane), Dan and Tom; sisters: Mary, Jane (Jeff Hofer), Sandy,
Patricia, and Peg; and numerous nieces, nephews; and great nieces and nephews. 
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister: Lois Nelsestuen; brother-in-law: Herb Nelsestuen;
and sisters-in-law: Sandy (Bautch) Dorn and Christina (Stone) Dorn.
Family would like to thank staff of the Trempealeau County Healthcare Center and Nancy
Christianson for their unwavering care and compassion.
