Robert “Bob” Pearson, 76, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the Tomah VA Home.
Bob was born on April 1, 1949, to Robert and Gloria (Johnsen) Pearson in Chicago, Illinois. He entered the US
Army and was a CW2 Cobra pilot serving with A-Troop 2/17 Calvary 101st Airborne in Vietnam. After being
honorably discharged, he was a fixed winged flight instructor in Illinois and Ohio.
He was united in marriage to Susan Bailey in June of 1973. He worked as a certified public accountant at Tom
Pearson’s International marketing firm in Minnesota. He was an avid bicyclist and weightlifter. He also enjoyed
cross-country ski racing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Gloria, and sister, Judith Pearson.
Bob’s memory will live on in the hearts of his wife, Susan, siblings, Deborah (Ken) Pearson Hall, Bonita
(William) Pearson Lidfors and Thomas (Doreen) Pearson, and brother-in-law, Gary Lukitsch, along with two
aunts along with many friends and family.
A celebration of life with military honors for Bob will take place from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. with military honors at
3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the American Legion in Black River Falls.
