At 11:49 AM on Friday January 10, 2025 a crash occurred on I-39 SB at Mile Marker 182 in ROCK
County near BELOIT.

Rock County Medical Examiner, Town of Beloit Fire/EMS and PD, Town of Turtle Fire/EMS and PD,
and Janesville Fire/EMS.

The details of the crash are as follows:
A Rock County Highway Department plow truck was clearing snow from the median shoulder on
Interstate 39/90 southbound near Mile Post 182. A southbound semi-tractor trailer was traveling in
the left lane and struck the rear passenger side of the plow truck. The impact caused the semi-tactor
trailer to jackknife and block all southbound interstate lanes. The driver of the semi-tractor trailer
was fatally injured. The driver of the plow truck was not injured. Wisconsin State Patrol will be
conducting the crash investigation along with a post-crash inspection of the semi-tractor trailer and
plow truck.
