Kedrick J Carter, 37 years of age, from Minneapolis, MN has been arrested by the Wisconsin State
Patrol DeForest Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 5th offense.
On 04/14/2024 at approximately 03:37am, the Wisconsin State Patrol conducted a traffic stop at
mile marker 86.6 westbound on Interstate 90/94 in Sauk County for no rear lights on the vehicle.
During the traffic stop the Trooper observed drugs in the vehicle. The driver, Kedrick Carter, refused
to complete standardized field sobriety testing and PBT testing. Carter was arrested for operating a
motor vehicle while under the influence 5th offense and several other drug related charges. Mr.
Carter was transported to a nearby facility for an evidentiary test of his blood and later transported
to Sauk County Jail without incident.
