The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is inviting families to take part in the annual Milwaukee Youth Spring Fishing Clinics on Saturday, April 18th at several Milwaukee County Parks locations.
The free clinics are designed to introduce beginners to fishing and help young anglers sharpen their skills before the open water season begins. DNR staff and local fishing clubs will offer beginner fishing lessons, water safety tips, and activities with games and prizes for kids.
Clinics run hourly starting at 9 a.m., with the final session beginning at 2 p.m. Children ages 15 and under can participate but must be accompanied by an adult.
Fishing equipment will be available, although participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have it. Clinics will be held rain or shine.
