The search for a missing Black River Falls woman continues. Stacy Shramek was last seen on Thanksgiving Day, leaving a family residence on North Roosevelt Rd in Black River Falls at approximately 2pm.
Stacy Shramek, is 5-feet-5 inches in height, weighing approximately 200 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, purple top and Hey Dude brand shoes. It is believed she left the area in a red and blue kayak, traveling north. The kayak was later found on the bank of the Black River north of where it is believed she left from.
Dive units, DNR and Law enforcement personnel, along with K9’s have been searching the area. If you have any information on Stacy Shramek’s whereabouts, you are asked to contact the Jackson County Communications Center at 715 284 5357 ext 180
