A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 74-year-old woman from Rusk County.
The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin Department of Justice are asking the public to help locate Julie Ann Meisegeier, who is believed to have dementia or another cognitive impairment.
Meisegeier was last seen Monday afternoon between 3:30 and 3:45 in the Gilman area after earlier being in Osseo. She was reportedly heading home to Bruce but never arrived and has not responded to phone calls.
She is described as a white female, 5-foot-6, about 160 pounds, with short gray hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink fuzzy sweater, gray pants, and glasses.
She is believed to be traveling in a black 2020 Chevrolet Equinox, Wisconsin license plate AND-7129.
