State Patrol Arrest Woman for 3rd OWI with Minors in the Car

Rochelle Lynn Olson, 34 years of age, from Eau Claire, has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 3rd offense, with two children in the vehicle under the age of 16.
In the early morning hours of yesterday, a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped a vehicle for traffic violations in the city of Eau Claire.
The Trooper observed that the driver, Rochelle Olson, showed signs of impairment. A subsequent investigation, including standardized field sobriety testing, showed that Ms. Olson was operating a
motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant. She was subsequently arrested and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant – 3rd offense while having passengers under 16 years old. The two children were turned over to the care of a family friend. Ms. Olson was transported to a local hospital for an evidentiary chemical test of her blood and then released to a responsible party.
