On December 22, 2025, at about 5:29 PM, a Deputy with the Sheriff’s Office observed a wanted
person entering the Wal-Mart store in the City of Black River Falls. The Deputy located and
arrested the person, identified as Ryan Carter, age 37, of Black River Falls, for a
Probation/Parole warrant.
The Deputy located suspected methamphetamine in the vehicle that brought Carter. With the
vehicle was Brandon Spangler, age 38, of Black River Falls. Spangler was arrested on drug
related charges.
A search of Carter’s residence was conducted and Brandi Sattler, age 39, of Warrens, was
located inside. Also located was drug paraphernalia consistent with drug sales, US currency,
and about 90 grams or 0.2 pounds of methamphetamine.
Sattler was arrested on drug related charges and held on a Probation hold.
At this time, all parties involved retain a presumption of innocence until adjudicated otherwise
in a court of law.
