The cardiovascular rehabilitation department at Tomah Health is making news.
The American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation has certified the cardio rehab program at Tomah Health.
Hospital cardiac rehab coordinator Shana Steele said the certification continues to be a highly regarded standard.
It’s the fifth time the program has been certified since it was first created in 1990.
Cardiac Rehabilitation at Tomah Health is a medically supervised outpatient exercise program designed to provide comprehensive care to people who have recently experienced a cardiac event.
