On October 6, 2024, at about 12:02 PM, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of
a two-vehicle car crash on County Road C in the Town of Albion.
On scene, Deputies found the two vehicles heavily damaged at the intersection of two county
highways. One of the vehicles contained multiple occupants, most of whom were injured. One
of the passengers died at the scene.
The Sheriff’s Office is investigating this case and was assisted by the Black River Falls Fire
Department and Ambulance services, Melrose First Responders, and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
The names of those involved will not be released at this time pending family notification.
