A Granton-area man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in the town of Sherwood. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened around 12:25 p.m. on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Investigators say the vehicle was traveling west on Sherwood Road when it entered the north ditch, rolled onto its driver’s side, and struck a tree.
The driver, 58-year-old Neil G. Pfeiffer, was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene by the county coroner. Emergency personnel from Granton, Neillsville, and the Clark County Sheriff’s and Coroner’s Offices responded. The crash remains under investigation.
