On Sunday, October 5th, at approximately 3:35 PM, officers from the Black River Falls
Police Department responded to a report of vandalism at Black River Falls High School.
School officials discovered damage to several areas of the school’s athletic facilities.
Summary of Incident:
During the investigation, it was determined that an unknown individual broke into the
football equipment shed located at the north end of the football field. The suspect took a
can of orange marking spray paint and proceeded to vandalize the following:

  • A bathroom in the concession shed
  • Both sets of bleachers
  • The concession shed exterior
  • Field lighting structures
  • A piece of brand-new football equipment
    At this time, it is unclear whether any items were stolen in addition to the vandalism.
    Ongoing Investigation:
    The Black River Falls Police Department is working closely with school officials to
    identify the person(s) responsible. We take these acts of property damage seriously —
    vandalism in our community will not be tolerated.
