Small towns, big lottery wins in Wisconsin this weekend. The Wisconsin Lottery says Little Chute and Stanley both sold tickets worth 50-thousand dollars.
In Little Chute, a Mega Millions ticket with a 5X Multiplier was sold at the Little Chute Shell on Freedom Road for the February 6th drawing. The ticket matched four numbers plus the Mega Ball, turning a 10-thousand-dollar win into 50-thousand dollars.
Then in Stanley, a 50-thousand-dollar Powerball ticket was sold at Express Mart on South Broadway Street for Saturday night’s drawing. That ticket also matched four numbers and the Powerball.
Express Mart store manager Amy said she’s thrilled for the winner and hopes it’s a regular customer from town.
Winners have 180 days to claim their prizes. Retailers who sell winning tickets over 599 dollars also receive a bonus from the Wisconsin Lottery.
Details on claiming prizes and checking tickets are available at wilottery.com or through the Lottery’s mobile app.
