The hunt for Wisconsin’s ultimate burger is heating up. The Wisconsin Beef Council has narrowed the field to the Elite Eight in its third annual Best Burger Contest. Selected from thousands of nominations, the finalists include restaurants from Burlington, Baraboo, Cambria, West Bend, Sheboygan, Menasha, Ripon, and Thiensville. A secret panel of judges is now visiting each location to score them on taste, appearance, and doneness. The winner will be crowned on April 24th to kick off May as Beef Month.
