Timothy Roy Schumacher, 62, of Hixton, WI passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Black
River Memorial Hospital.
Timothy (Tim) Roy Schumacher was born to Joseph and Shirley (Butterfield) on April 24, 1961,
in Viroqua, WI. Tim graduated from Black River Falls High School in 1979. Tim married Rose
Appel and they later divorced. In 1986 Tim married Jill Burlingame and they later divorced in 1989.

On August 15, 1992, Tim married Kathy Huntington in Black River Falls, WI where they
raised a son and a daughter.
Throughout his life Tim held various jobs including working at Big Chief Truck Stop, he worked
on various farms throughout his life. One of the last farming jobs he had was working for Jan
and Joe Massman in Taylor, WI. Tim worked for the Banner Journal delivering papers. Recently
Tim was transporting people in the Amish community. In his spare time, Tim enjoyed mowing
lawns, snow removal and working on vehicles. He had a passion for helping others.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Shirley Schumacher, his Nephew James
Ostrander, Niece Alice Adrzejewski and a brother-in-law Gaylord Rhoades.
Tim is survived by his wife Kathy Schumacher, his daughter Tracy (David) Dobson, his son
Kyle Huntington, his grandchildren; Anthonie, Zacharie, Rylie and Marshall, his sisters; Susan
Schumacher, Nancy Rhoades, Mary Schumacher, his brothers; Daniel Schumacher, Jeffery
Schumacher, David (Linda) Schumacher and many Nieces, Nephews and Great Nieces and
Nephews.
Tim was a caring and giving person, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in
need. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family are invited to share memories of Tim during a visitation March 15, 2024,
from 10 am to noon at the Buswell Funeral Home in Black River Falls, WI.
