Family Promise of the Great Rivers has received a $20,000 grant from Clayton Homes to support families at risk of homelessness in Monroe and Jackson Counties. The funding is part of a larger $1.5 million commitment from Clayton to the Family Promise national network.

The grant supports A Future Begins at Home, a joint initiative aimed at keeping families housed and helping them regain stability. Since its launch in 2019, the program has helped over 30,000 families and sparked millions in additional funding nationwide.

In addition to financial support, Clayton has donated 18 homes to be used as transitional housing for families working with Family Promise. These homes provide a safe space for families as they receive support services and work toward permanent housing.

Family Promise expressed gratitude, saying the funding puts families closer to independence and helps keep them together during challenging times.
