A new competition is coming to this year’s Clark County Fair, giving young builders a chance to show off their creativity. Clark County is introducing its first-ever LEGO Contest, with the 2026 theme, “Fair Favorites.” Youth are invited to create a LEGO display featuring their favorite part of the fair for a chance to win a brand-new LEGO set. The contest is open to three age groups: ages 3 to 6, 7 to 12, and 13 to 18. Entries must be made using only LEGO or Duplo bricks, with no kits or other building materials. Each participant may submit one original creation. Displays can be dropped off at the Extension table inside the Fine Arts Building until noon Thursday, August 6th at the Clark County Fair Grounds. Judging will take place Thursday afternoon, and entries will remain on display throughout the fair. Don’t have LEGOs at home? No worries as organizers will have a building area stocked with LEGOs available at the fair allowing children to create their contest entry on-site. The Clark County Fair runs August 5th through 8th in Neillsville. For more information contact Courtney at Clark County UW- Extension at 715-743-5121 or email Courtney.becker@co.clark.wi.us.
