(Madison, WI)  —  Negotiators have reportedly reached an agreement to head off a nurses’ strike at U-W Health.  The nurses want their union to be recognized for negotiations.  The settlement will be reviewed by the union membership and the University Hospital and Clinics Authority before the deal becomes official.  If both sides approve the three-day strike set to begin Tuesday will be called off.  The Journal Sentinel is reporting that Governor Tony Evers helped broker the deal.
