Alice M. Likely, 82 of Kendall, Wisconsin passed away on March 28, 2024, in Westby, Wisconsin surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 27, 1941, to Harold and Julia (Ludeking) Wendland in Town of Sheldon. On February 27, 1960, she was united in marriage to John Likely in Ridgeville by Pastor Meyers. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2006. John and Alice had a farm near Wilton and raised three girls. She worked on the farm and when the youngest started school, she started working at the Badger Restaurant in Tomah for over 35 years until her retirement. She loved going to family events with her daughters.
She is survived by her three daughters, Lorrie (Todd) Haase of Kendall, Tamra and Stephany both of Tomah. Four brothers; Edwin (Lillian) Wendland of Tomah, Rudolph of Sparta, Ralph (Mary) Wendland and Irvin (Julie) Wendland both of Tomah. Four grandchildren; Michael (Hollie) Satona, Joshua Satona of Sparta, Cody Satona of Kendall, and Jacob Haase of Kendall. Eight great-grandchildren; Jayden, Jared, Joelan, Braxton, Drake, Mackenzie, Faithlynn, Graham. Many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a special friend, Jack Lindvedt, great-granddaughter Harmonie Satona.
A family memorial gathering is being held on April 11, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau Street, Tomah. Online condolences can be offered by visiting www.sonnenburgfamilyfh.com
