The Alzheimer’s Association will hold its Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Black River Falls on Saturday, October 3rd, at Lunda Community Park on Tyler Street.
The event opens at 8:30 a.m., with the Promise Garden Flower Ceremony at 9:40, followed by the walk at 10 a.m.
Participants will carry flowers during the ceremony, with each color representing their personal connection to Alzheimer’s disease.
More than 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, including more than 110,000 people in Wisconsin. The event raises awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
