Arbadella “Arby” Ann Nandory, 86, of Taylor, WI, passed away peacefully on the
morning of April 13, 2026.
Arbadella was born to Walter and Arvilda (Simplot) German on November 29, 1939, at
the Black River Falls Memorial Hospital and spent her youth in Brockway, WI.
In 1957, Arbadella married Emil Nandory and the two moved to Janesville, WI, shortly
after. In 1961, the couple relocated to Tacoma, WA, while Emil was serving in the
National Guard. Afterward, they settled in rural Taylor, WI, where they farmed for many
years.
Arbadella was the definition of a farm wife, helping her husband on the farm and being
an excellent homemaker and mother to her four children, Randy, Duane, Debra, and
Kristal.
She had many hobbies, including cooking, quilting, and deer hunting. Arbadella had an
exceptional green thumb, loved gardening, and was especially proud of her vibrant
flower garden. She was an avid collector of woven baskets and had as many as 250
baskets in her collection at one point. Her eye for antiques also extended to her
collection of kerosene lamps and Depression-era glassware. Stemming from her love of
antiquing, Arbadella enjoyed attending auctions and hosted her last auction this past
October.
Outside of the home, Arbadella was an active member of her church, the Taylor
Lutheran Church, where she served as a Ladies Aide, volunteered with the Sunshine
Homemakers for over 40 years, and worked with the church quilting group. She also
served in the community as a 4-H leader.
Arbadella is survived by her four children; Randy (Heidi) Nandory, Duane Nandory,
Debra (Richard) Andazola, and Kristal Suckut, her seven grandchildren; Jeanette
(Roger Sanz) Andazola, Andrea (Ken Dolle) Andazola, Zachariah Andazola, Nathan
Nandory, Jacob Nandory, Natasha Beck, and Patrick Suckut, her great-grandchildren;
Izaiah, Adrienne, Zion, Jayden, Tristan, Haileigh, Ari, and Josie, as well as many other
relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Emil Nandory, her parents, Walter and
Arvilda German, her brother, Lloyd German, and her infant great-grandson, Josiah
Andazola.
