Aron Jeffrey Nottestad, age 28, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Northfield, WI, on
December 16, 2023. He was born October 24, 1995 in Janesville, WI.
Aron graduated from Holmen High School in 2014. At the age of 15, he was struck by a car that
left him disabled on the right side of his body. Aron continued to struggle after and had begun a
prolonged battle with addiction. Even with all this Aron grew into a man who would give you the
shirt off his back and the shoes from his feet. He was very sociable and had many friends. He
was funny and kind. He loved nice clothes and tennis shoes. He drove a nice car. Aron was very
classy.
Aron was preceded in death by his father, Jeff Nottestad; grandparents, Calvin and Gladys
Smith and Joan and Lynn Nottestad.
Aron’s memory will live forever in the hearts of who loved him, his mother, Lori Nottestad of
Northfield, WI; sister, Stephanie Nottestad of Northfield, WI, Arianne (Nottestad) Clark (Wade) of
Montana; nephews, who Aron loved dearly: Wyatt, Austin, Blake; and nieces, Eden, Gracie, and
Sunny; many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins as well.
Aron loved and believed in God and Jesus. He read books and always asked us to pray for him,
which we did non-stop. Aron is now free at his prime age of 28. John 14:27 “Peace I leave with
you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be
troubled, neither let it be afraid. But we do not want you to be uninformed brothers about those
who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. Isahiah (5 1:3)
I love you so much Aron. We will miss you.
