On the evening of April 26, at approximately 9:15PM, Tomah Officers were dispatched to an address on the 800 block of Dogwood Lane for a physical disturbance between two adult males who live together. The suspect fled prior to the arrival of law enforcement. The victim suffered injuries to his face and a suspected stab wound to his chest. The victim was treated at the Tomah Health Emergency Department and released.
On April 27th, the suspect was located in Black River Falls by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and taken into custody without incident. The suspect was brought to Tomah, interviewed, and is currently being held in the Monroe County Jail.

Edwin J. Ross (51, Tomah)
The following criminal charges are being recommended to the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office (All charges are domestic violence related):
- 1st Degree Intentional Homicide – Attempted
- Reckless Injury
- Aggravated Battery
- Battery
- Disorderly Conduct
