Barbara J. Hart, age 66 of Merrillan died peacefully Wednesday morning, September 11 th  in her
home. 
Barbara was born June 30 th ,1958 to Joseph & Loretta (Terborg) Hebein in Milwaukee and
graduated from Lincoln High School in Alma Center in 1976.
Barbara married Dale R. Hart on June 24 th , 1978, and together they had three children. During
their childhood years, she worked from home creating hand-painted decorative art that she sold
at local craft shows. As the kids grew and entered high school, she began working at Deer
Creek Trading Co. in Black River Falls, and learned her knack for creating the perfect latte
(always made with love) and her love for people. She worked as a barista at the local coffee
shops and retired from Revolution in downtown Black River Falls in 2020 to pursue her love for
creating beautiful pottery. She loved a good cup of coffee, a good glass of wine, spending time
with her sisters and creating art with her most beloved friend, Anne. 
Barbara’s greatest love and gift was being a wife and a mother. She poured her heart and soul
into her family, teaching them relentless, nourishing, unconditional love, creativity, passion for
nature’s gifts, and faith in God. Barbara also cherished her fellow “creative weirdos”. 
Barbara is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dale; her three children; Julia (Josh) Carlson,
Jenna (Andrew) Hart-Koxlien), Jacob (Stephanie) Hart, her Pa; Ralph Ringlien, seven
grandchildren, four sisters, three sister-cousins, and many nieces and nephews. 
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and her two most beloved friends; Cindy Conforte
and Anne Jensen. 
The celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 19th from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Bohemian Hall, (N7311 Bohemian Rd) in Black River Falls.


Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home in Hixton has been entrusted to Barbara’s care and
arrangements.
