(Madison, WI) — Wisconsin’s governor says President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are welcome to make a stop in Wisconsin. C-N-N reports the president had been planning to make a big speech in Wisconsin at the end of July – until Governor Tony Evers’ staff urged him not to come. Evers is in a tight reelection fight against Republican Tim Michels. W-D-J-T/T-V reports his staff apparently didn’t want the governor to make an appearance with a president who has low approval ratings. Evers says he wasn’t a part of that decision.
