The Alzheimer’s Association Wisconsin Chapter has announced that former Milwaukee Brewers player and beloved TV commentator Bill Schroeder will serve as the Honorary Statewide Chair for the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Wisconsin.
This annual walk is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. It unites communities across the state in the fight against the disease, which impacts over 110,000 Wisconsinites.
Also returning this year is the “Sportscasters Against Alzheimer’s” campaign, now in its fifth year. This initiative has played a vital role in raising awareness and encouraging action statewide.
Schroeder, whose own family has been affected by Alzheimer’s, says he’s honored to take on this role and looks forward to working with the Alzheimer’s Association, fellow sportscasters, and local communities to raise awareness and inspire hope.
