Black River Country Bank is pleased to continue support and positively reinforce the academic
and extracurricular achievements of our local high school students’ educational careers and their
future goals as they pursue their post-secondary education through a variety of educational
Scholarships. Black River Country Bank has been awarding scholarships to graduating seniors in
our area for over 30 years – initiated at Melrose-Mindoro High School, later expanding to Black
River Falls High School, and in most recent years BRCB Ownership once again expanded the
scholarship program Lincoln High School within the Alma Center-Humbird-Merrillan School
District. “It is one of the most joyful aspects about working in our family-owned, community
bank … to be able to personally recognize and honor the talent and exceptional work of our local
high school graduates who are often friends, neighbors, and in some cases, even family. To be
able to help financially support their post-secondary journeys is beyond rewarding.” stated Tracy
Madvig, Black River Country Bank’s Organization & Business Development Officer.
