The Black River Falls FFA will be selling their fresh-picked sweet corn on
Thursday, August 11, from 2 to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, August 13, from 8 a.m.
to 12:30 p.m. The sales will happen from the school district’s Land Lab which is
located next to the Jackson County Animal Shelter.
The students only made one planting of the sweet corn this year, so it will all be
ready at the same time. You will be purchasing the sweet corn directly from the
Land Lab where it was grown – it doesn’t get any fresher than that.
FFA is a student leadership organization that seeks to develop premier
leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
