Black River Memorial Hospital has been recognized with the 2024 Performance Leadership Award for excellence in Quality. The award, presented by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, highlights rural hospitals performing in the top 25% nationally in areas like Quality, Outcomes, and Patient Perspective.

CEO Carl Selvick expressed gratitude to the hospital’s staff, stating, “Together, we continue to raise the bar on what it means to provide excellent care, close to home.”

The award is based on the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX®, a trusted tool used nationwide to evaluate rural hospital performance.
