Blaine M. Jostad, 90, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2026, at Marinuka Manor Nursing

Holmen, La Crosse County, WI. Blaine graduated from Galesville High School in 1954. On

the things, picking up odd jobs, helping family and friends, and working in various positions
around Galesville, including Friday Canning Co. and Centerville Co-op at retirement. He was an
avid reader of local news and kept a running timeline of details in his head, offering up the
history of things at a moment's notice. He and his wife took great pride in their gardens and
yard. Family was very important to him, and the two of them enjoyed hosting family gatherings
and making spontaneous visits to family.
