(Eau Claire, WI) — Add this to the list of this winter storm. The National Weather Service has placed Eau Claire and the Chippewa Valley under a Blizzard Warning til 6 a.m. tomorrow morning. The Blizzard Warning is in addition to the Winter Storm Warning that’s also in effect til 6 a.m. tomorrow morning. Forecasters say today’s winds will peak at 50 miles-per-hour. That will not only blow the snow around, it will create dangerous wind chills of about 35-below.
