Bonnie Mae Knipp passed away on her 88th birthday on July 14th, 2023 surrounded by family and her beloved dog Ceasar at her home in Janesville. She was born in Black River Falls, Wisconsin on July 14th, 1935 to Frank and Emma (Gilbertson) Bock. Bonnie attended and graduated from Black River High School in 1953.
Sometime after graduation, she and some childhood friends moved to Milwaukee to experience the “big city” and she met Carl Knipp whom she later married on April 15th, 1957. Bonnie spent most of her life raising her family, but decided to work part-time outside the home at Prent Corporation in Janesville for several years once the kids started college. She met many good friends at Prent and remained in contact with them.
Bonnie is survived by her three children; Bradley (Gail) Knipp, Suzanne Kienbaum and Corey (Renee) Knipp; five grandchildren: Alyssa (John) Van Duzee, Daniel (Amy) Knipp, Amanda (Joesph) Barbosa, Michael Kienbaum and Kelsey Kienaum. Bonnie also leaves behind six great grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Carlyle (Carl), parents: Frank and Emma Bock, and her brother Richard.
