The Black River Falls Common Council meets Tuesday, August 4, at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
On the agenda, council members will consider a cost-sharing request from Jackson County for a mid-block crosswalk on North Third Street, approve an amendment to the city’s long-term power supply contract, and review an incentive package for the Make My Move talent recruitment program.
Also up for consideration is a request from the Police Department to purchase a new K-9 for $6,000, an engineering agreement for the Forrest Street reconstruction project, and the mayor’s appointment of Jennifer Hatlili to the City Housing Authority.
The meeting concludes with a closed session to discuss the potential purchase of vacant land in the Lallapalooza Estates development. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Black River Falls City Hall and is also available via Zoom.
