Cassie Sonnentag is the new Senior Director of Public Relations at the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation. A native of Black River Falls, Sonnentag has worked for the Farm Bureau since 20-17, most recently as their Director of Media Relations and Outreach. Prior to that she was the Midwest Regional Reporter for the Dairy Star newspaper. As the Farm Bureau’s Senior Director of Public Relations, Sonnentag will continue overseeing the organization’s media relations, social media and advertising efforts…and work extensively with the Gather Wisconsin brand. In addition, she will be co-managing the newly established WisGO Team, the WFBF’s Communications Intern, Event Ambassadors and content freelancers. She and her husband, Allen, live near Cadott with their daughter, where they are involved in the family’s farming business, Sonnentag Custom Farming. Sonnentag earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural education, communications and leadership from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
