The #WillPProject received a generous boost thanks to a local student’s hard work. Hailee Scheurich, a senior at Black River Falls High School, raised over $1,100 through her FCCLA Hoops for Hope fundraiser this last winter. The donation was presented this week, and organizers say they’re blown away by Hailee’s efforts and heart for giving back. Founded in the shadow of tragedy, the #WillPProject shares messages of hope and help in suicide prevention and cancer support. It serves communities within 30 miles of Alma Center and helps fund counseling, place benches to spark conversations, and support cancer warriors in need.
