Applications are now available to students seeking involvement in BRMH’s Volunteen
Program.
The Volunteen Program is an opportunity for local students to interact and
network with healthcare professionals and community members, build confidence,
expand and refine their skillset, and explore healthcare careers that appeal to them!
Students must be between the ages of 14-18, or entering the ninth grade to apply.
Volunteens must commit to volunteering a minimum of four hours each week and
attending a general orientation/training session.
The program runs throughout the
Summer months. Orientation will be Monday, June 12, from 11:30AM to approximately
3:00PM at BRMH’s main campus. Applicants will be contacted if the orientation
schedule changes.
Volunteen duties may include, but are not limited to, greeting and escorting patients and
visitors, delivering mail, staffing the information desk, and assisting departments with
various duties.
Volunteens also have the opportunity to shadow positions they are
particularly interested in or would like to learn more about. BRMH is willing to work with
Volunteens on shadowing wishes, based on availability.
Students interested in applying can visit brmh.net/volunteer and fill out the Volunteen
application form. The registration deadline is May 15, 2023.
